This Skirt Model is designed for dancers who perform abhinaya-centric items where the focus is on expression, stillness, and body control rather than vigorous nritta. The silhouette is intentionally soft and composed, keeping the visual emphasis on the upper body, face, and mudra vocabulary.

When to Use This Model
This costume is specifically suited for pieces where there are no repeated leg lifts, jumps, or deep continuous araimandi, such as:
• Padam
• Javali
• Shlokam
• Viruttam
• Other lyrical, expressive items

During these items, the skirt provides:
• A calm, elegant stage line
• No excessive flare to distract during abhinaya
• Smooth movement without pull or heaviness
• A mature and traditional aesthetic appropriate to slower tempo

Why Not for Nritta?
If the performance includes:
• Alarippu
• Jathiswaram
• Fast korvais
• Long araimandi sequences
• Jumps, lifts, or stamina-heavy adavus
— then this is not the correct costume model.
Choose Short Fan or Dwaraka for those items.

This clarity avoids fit issues, performance obstruction, and stage distortion.
