“Chaithra K. Iyer is a dedicated Bharatanatyam dancer from Bengaluru who began her training at the age of five under the guidance of Guru Vidushi Smt. Sunitha Sukumaran at Shri Krishna Kalaalaya. Through years of disciplined training, she has developed a strong foundation in both the technical and expressive aspects of Bharatanatyam. She completed her Rangapravesha (Arangetram) on 10 April 2024, marking an important milestone in her artistic journey. Chaithra has performed at numerous prestigious platforms including national dance festivals, temple stages, cultural programs, and international venues. Her notable performances include the Delhi International Arts Festival, performances at Chowdiah Memorial Hall, Dharmasthala Lakshadeepotsava, and the Navaratri Dance Festival at Batu Caves, Malaysia. Her dedication to the art form reflects her commitment to preserving and promoting the classical traditions of Bharatanatyam. ”
